Event Summary

The 40th annual Adams Avenue Street Fair – featuring 65 musical acts on six stages – is scheduled from  10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.
Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival is held each year in September in the community of Normal Heights. The event also features carnival rides, beer gardens and beer tastings, festival foods and 300 arts and crafts booths.
 

Beer connoisseurs will enjoy the Street Fair’s Craft Beer Taste (from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday only), across from the Starbucks Stage. Visitors to the craft beer taste will have the opportunity to sample 2oz. tastes from 20 breweries for only $25. 

 
Three additional beer gardens are open throughout the two-day run of the street fair featuring full pour servings of San Diego’s best craft beer selection.
 
Vendors with unique offerings also will be participating in this year’s street fair and will be set-up throughout the venue. A complete schedule of events, performance times and an Adams Avenue Street Fair map are coming soon!

Official Adams Avenue Street Fair Press Release
This year’s Adams Avenue Street Fair, Southern California’s largest FREE two-day music festival, will take place Saturday, September 24, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Sunday, September 25, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, on Adams Avenue, located in the Normal Heights community of San Diego. The event is open to all-ages.

The Street Fair will feature more than 70 musical artists performing on six stages spread out over an eight-block radius. Attendees will enjoy a variety of music, including blues, roots-rock, World, Latin jazz & salsa and alt-country. Among the artists set to perform are the Hacienda Brothers, Nortec Collective, The Bell-Rays, Big Sandy & The Fly Rite Boys, Transfer, Quetzal and legendary blues artist Pinetop Perkins. In addition to the incredible music, there will be three beer gardens, giant carnival rides, and more than 400 food, arts and craft vendors.

22nd Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair 2003

This years Adams Avenue Street Fair will run from Saturday September 27th from 10am to 9pm and Sunday September 28th from 10am to 6pm.

The Adams Avenue Street Fair is Southern California’s largest free music festival. The Street Fair falls on the last weekend in September and features over seven stages of live music. Several blocks of Adams Avenue are closed off, from Bancroft to 35th street. The street fair attracts many vendors and exotic foods.
